Super Baby's Arrival

Wait, it's not the 18th yet!!!!!! Well here's the story:
As you know the dr's had been monitoring Superbaby's weight b/c he was not gaining, well last tuesday i went for another ultrasound and in three weeks he had only gained 5 ounces...I was super worried when i got home that night, and when I went into work on Wednesday..i had a dr's apt at 4 and knew we would discuss the results..Well at 910 my phone rang and it was the dr I told him how happy i was that he ccalled b/c i was worried, and he said he was pretty worried too. They had me rush down to the High Risk office at Yale to have another ultrasound and determine where we would go from there..Luckily my mom was going into work late that day and decided to come with me to the apt....they discoverd that hew as not gaining and that some of my umbilical levels were elevated...and they needed to have me admitted that day to deliver.
So my mom and I went home and packed up my bag and met the comish at the hospital...
We got there around 1, however b/c I had eaten a poptart at 1030 they could not do the section till 5..so I was hooked up to the fetal monitor and waited..at 230 Superbaby's heart rate dropped off, and a whole team of people rushed into the room...they were ready to rush me in for an emergency c-setion, however the heartrate came backup...they then explained to me that my placenta was failing and that was the reason they were so worried...luckily it did not happen again and Super baby was born at 5:33 pm at 4 pounds 15.5 oz, 18 3/4 inches long...he is doing great now, eating like crazy. We go to the dr today and find out how much he has gained..
THANK GOD the dr had monitored his weight gain so closely b/c we dont' know what could have happened to him...but he is doing AMAZING and is SOOOOO sweet......
